Ceramics possess all the qualities needed to make restorations indistinguishable from natural teeth. In this project, we used e.max A2 ceramic with the application of effect masses. We achieved an outstanding aesthetic result and natural appearance thanks to the translucency of the incisal edge and the smooth transition from the enamel layer to the dense dentin layer.

At Sakura Laboratory, we stay in constant contact with the doctor 24/7. We analyze digital scans, X-rays, and impressions of all teeth to identify trigger zones and areas of wear in order to prevent chipping and to detect temporomandibular joint disorders in a timely manner. We also pay special attention to tooth preparation, scans, and impressions.

Our main goal is to clearly define the treatment objectives and create an ideal mock-up and treatment plan, avoiding remakes, negative experiences, and damaged relationships between the clinic and the patient.

Design customization is carried out using both digital and analog impressions. We can present the treatment plan and your future smile in a wax-up or produce it using 3D printing. The ‘try-in’ of the template takes place at the clinic during the doctor’s appointment.

At this stage, we at Sakura Lab also ask the doctor to take a second set of photographs showing the template in the oral cavity, following a specific sequence and including the reference points we require..
